Brine Treatment

The increasing stringency of wastewater and discharge regulations has led to a growing demand for water recovery and reuse, especially in light of the widespread implementation of MLD (Minimum Liquid Discharge) and ZLD (Zero Liquid Discharge) in many industrial processes. Additionally, the rising costs associated with water and brine disposal necessitate advanced technical solutions.
MANN+HUMMEL offers a comprehensive portfolio of solutions to address these challenges. UF (Ultrafiltration) options like iSep 500 and PureULTRA II can be employed for feed pretreatment. Standard RO (Reverse Osmosis) and UHP (Ultra High-Pressure) modules are used to concentrate streams, recover permeate for industrial processes, and reduce the volume of waste requiring disposal. This approach maintains a balance between cost efficiency and optimal performance.
